RoamRoster privacy policy
What this site collects, why it collects it, how long it is kept and how you exercise your rights. Last updated September 4, 2026.
Who is responsible
RoamRoster is published by MLJ, SASU, a company registered in Paris under SIREN 934 769 837. The publication director, Jimenez Julien, is the person responsible for how personal data collected on roamroster.com is handled. You can reach him about anything on this page at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. Full company details are on the legal notice.
What the contact form collects
The only place this website collects personal data is the request form on the home page. When you submit it, the following named fields are transmitted: name, email, company, role, request, size, message and consent. Two hidden fields travel with the submission for routing purposes: subject, which identifies the site the message came from, and recipient, which is the mailbox that receives it. A honeypot field called bot-field is included to catch automated spam and is expected to stay empty.
We do not ask for a passport number, a payment card, a date of birth or any special category of data anywhere on this site. Please do not include traveler personal data in the message field. If you want to discuss a specific traveler situation, describe it in general terms and we will arrange a secure channel.
Why we process it and on what basis
Your submission is used for one purpose: to answer your request and, if you ask for it, to arrange a walkthrough of the product. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the consent box, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us. You are never added to a marketing list as a result of sending this form, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for advertising.
Who processes the submission
Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, hosts this site and operates the form handling service that receives and stores submissions. Netlify acts as our processor. A copy of the submission is forwarded to the publisher's email mailbox, which is operated by a standard email provider. Nobody else receives your form.
How long submissions are kept
Form submissions are retained for twenty four months from the date they are received, so that we can follow up on a conversation that started a season earlier, and are then deleted from the form store. Email correspondence that follows from your enquiry is kept for the same period unless you become a customer, in which case business records are kept for the period required by French commercial and tax law. You may ask for earlier deletion at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no third party analytics script and embeds no social media tracker. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond the form you choose to send. Your browser stores nothing more than the standard technical requests needed to deliver the pages, and the host keeps short lived server logs containing IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.
International transfers
Because the host is established in the United States, data you submit is stored on servers located in the United States. Transfers from the European Economic Area are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and by the supplementary measures published by the host. If you are writing from the United States, your data stays within the United States.
Your rights in the United States
Depending on where you live, state privacy law gives you specific rights over your personal information. Residents of California may request access to the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, request deletion, request correction, and opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not process it for targeted advertising. Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Virginia hold comparable rights of access, correction, deletion and portability, together with the right to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. You will never be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you may request access to your data, ask for it to be corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, withdraw your consent at any time, and receive a copy in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, which in France is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes.
How to exercise your rights
Write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com with the email address you used on the form and a short description of your request. We answer within thirty days and normally much sooner. We may ask you one question to confirm that the request comes from you, and we will not ask for identity documents to answer a simple deletion request.
Children
RoamRoster is a business product sold to adults who run travel businesses. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us information through the form, write to us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
Pages and form submissions travel over HTTPS. Access to the mailbox that receives enquiries is protected by two factor authentication, and access to the form store is limited to the publication director. If a breach affecting this form ever occurred, affected senders would be notified by email and the relevant supervisory authority informed within the statutory deadline.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new last updated date. Material changes affecting people who have already written to us are announced by email to the address used on the form. The current version was last updated on September 4, 2026.
